Ames one of 4 Canucks in the Justin Timberlake tourney this week in Vegas

Trust me folks there is a ton o' golf left to be played in 2011 including the President's Cup and the Aussie Open in November, the Race to Dubai has 12 events left including this week's Dunhill Links at the Old course, Carnoustie and King's Barns which is the equivalent to the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. They will travel through Spain, South Africa and out to the Far East before heading back to the Middle East (Dubai) for the season finale..

The PGA tour starts it's Fall Series in Vegas at the easy TPC Summerlin (ranked 48th of 51 in terms of difficulty) where Steven Ames, David Hearn, Chris Baryla and Matt McQuillan are in the field..

Ames now 47 has had a poor season with only 2 top 10's in 18 outings. He has slippped from 33rd in the world to 244 and is 133 on the money list and is trying to get back inside the top 125. Hasn't played since August 7th at Reno. Just 3 years til the Champions Tour Dave...

Hearn... David has had his best year on the PGA tour, obviously the 2nd time round has been easier for him but he is 274 in the world, 129th on the money list so needs to make enough in this Fall Series to secure his card in the top 125. He has had 3 top 25's this year.

Baryla..At one point Chris missed 14 straight cuts, in fact made only 1 all year and will clearly need to catch lightning in a bottle or it's back to Q school. He tweeted " great life here on tour, play Thursday and Friday with weekends off"

McQuillan.. Matt is 396 in the world, 139 on the money list. He altered his swing in mid season with immediate results. He had missed 10 cuts in a row before the change and he then placed T3 at the John Deere in July, as well as T6 at Reno. Again, he is hoping to get into that top 125..
