Deutche Bank field set to tee off.. Dougherty will make cut in Switzerland

So far this morning the lead story coming out of round 2 of the Fed Ex Cup playoffs is that Phil Mickelson (off #1 at 12.28) has switched to the long or anchored putter for today at least.

* lost from many in the Tiger playing the Fry's dot com hoopla is the news that Tiger is about to sign a huge corporate deal with them. Financial details are not yet available.

* Canadian pro Jerry Anderson will be honoured when a bronze plaque representing his 1984 win in Crans Montana will be one of 55 laid in the tiny Swiss village that hosts the European Masters every year. He will join past winners like Seve Ballesteros, Ernie Els, Lee Westwood etc. Anderson set the scoring record at -27.
