Plenty of golf the week after the Masters.. McIlroy loses his clubs..

After all the drama at Augusta, the field has split up and gone their own ways, some on holiday, some to Texas, some to Malaysia, some have just gone home. Tiger is in China and Korea on business with Nike..

PGA TOUR

Valero Texas Open
Site: San Antonio.

Course: TPC San Antonio, Oaks Course (7,435 yards, 6,799 meters, par 72).
Purse: $6.2 million. Winner's share: $1,116,000.

Canucks. David Hearn, Chris Baryla, Matt McQuillan, Mike Weir

Defending champion: Adam Scott won his seventh US PGA Tour title and first since the 2008 Byron Nelson, shooting 66-67 in a 36-hole Sunday finale to beat Fredrik Jacobson by a stroke. Scott finished T2 last week at Augusta
.
Notes: No. 17 Scott, No. 23 Martin Laird and No. 29 Geoff Ogilvy are the only players ranked in the top 30 in the world in the field.. .The tournament, played in San Antonio since 1922, is in its second season at the Greg Norman-designed Oaks after 15 years at La Cantera. Sergio Garcia served as a design consult. The layout has three par 5s of more than 600 yards.

EUROPEAN TOUR

Maybank Malaysian Open
Site: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Course: Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, West Course (6,967 yards, 6,371 meters, par 72).
Purse: $2.5 million. Winner's share: $416,660.

Defending champion: South Korea's Noh Seung-yul beat countryman K.J. Choi by a stroke.

Notes: In a touch of irony Schwartzel and McIlroy flew together on Monday and Rory tweeted " flying with Charl at least one of us won the Masters". They are in the field along with Martin Kaymer, Louis Oosthuizen and Italian teen star Matteo Manassero.The tournament is in its 50th year

After the 25-hour journey from Georgia to Malaysia Rory arrived today to find his clubs had not made the journey. They are currently lost in transit..


CHAMPIONS TOUR

Outback Steakhouse Pro Am
Site: Lutz, Florida.

Course: TPC Tampa Bay (6,828 yards, 6,244 meters, par 71).
Purse: $1.7 million. Winner's share: $255,000.

Defending Champion  Bernhard Langer won in 36 holes( rain-shortened tournament) but Langer is sidelined by a left thumb injury. Nick Price won the 2009 tournament for his first Champions Tour title. Tom Watson won in 2007 and 2008
