The Monday Wrap... final results

LPGA Tour: Chevron Championship final results here

It was an emotional farewell to Mission Hills GC in Rancho Mirage as an important era in the growth of the LPGA crept from another impossibly beautiful sunny desert day into the dark night of the Coachella Valley where Dinah Shore and David Foster organized the first Colgate-Dinah Shore Winners Circle 50 years ago in 1972 to promote women's golf in southern California.

Jennifer Kupcho celebrated her first LPGA title by jumping into Poppie's Pond.

Jennifer Kupcho did her level best to squander her 6 shot lead, playing the last 13 holes in +4, but in the end along with her new husband and caddie, they were the last to jump into Poppy's pond as she held on for a 2 stroke victory over Jessica Korda (69) with a +2 74,  -14 total and $750,000

Brooke Henderson finished 72 71 67 72 -6 for a T13 worth $75,841.

There was an emotional tribute from players and colleagues to Judy Rankin who won it in 1976 and wrapped up her 32 year broadcasting career, saying she will still fill in when needed, likely for the majors.

Adam Hadwin continued his fine early season form with his 3rd straight top 10 finish, this time 70 70 71 67 -10 T4th which was just 3 shots behind first time winner JJ Spaun in San Antonio.
