No good news for Canadians today from the wind blown LOTTE Championship at the Hoakalei CC on the south shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
Something happened with Brooke Henderson, she was in great spirits leading up to the event, opened with 74 then withdrew citing ""illness". She's not alone, her playing partner Danielle Kang and 4 others also withdrew. The LPGA out of respect for their women, doesn't expound on withdrawals, unless the player publicly says why, eg bad back, sore wrist etc.
The cut fell at +3. Maude Aimee Leblanc 73 75 +4 and Maddie Szeryk 73 75 +4 are also out for the weekend.
The leader, another one of the South Koreans Hyo Joo Kim who is bogey free 67 67 -10 to lead by 3 shots from Aussie Sarah Kemp 68 69 -7.
Of the top 10 players, 5 are from South Korea.
This event wraps up on Saturday.
