Yang still leads Lewis by 3 at US Women's Open

Today for the fourth time Amy Yang will be in the final group at a U.S. Open. This time after a 69 to go with 67, 66 she'll have a 3 shot lead at -8 over a very tough Stacy Lewis 69. 67 69 -5.

Yang’s three-day total of -8 202 is the second-lowest in championship history behind Julie Inkster’s 201 in 1999. She and Lewis were paired together, it was like match play, and Yang came out of it the same way she went in.. up by 3. Lewis, a two-time major winner is struggling with the greens, she is ranked 26th this week with 96 putts.

In Gee Chun, playing in her first U.S. Open, shot a second -2 68 to sit in third place at -4 while Japan’s Shiho Oyama is fourth at -3 after a 71.
 
Defending champion Michelle Wie 68 -2 is hampered play with hip and ankle pain. She is in a four-way tie for fifth at -2 along with two-time winner Inbee Park (70). Also in that group is Chella Choi who shot 64 including a record front nine of 29.
 
Brooke Henderson is T18 +1 after rebounding from Friday's 73 with a -2 68.
