Well the breeze turned into a wind this afternoon at Gullane, with the morning flight getting the advantage, however sore wrist and all Daniel Brooks started with a double bogey but hung in there with some great iron shots to shoot 69 -12 total, and take a one shot lead into Sunday, with some big names right behind.
Rickie Fowler shot another fine 66 and is at -10 along with Juist Luiten 66, and Tommy Fleetwood 67 and just ahead of them in 2nd at -11 is Frenchman Raphael Jacquelin with an early 64. Matt Kucher shot 67 to get to -9 and Miguel Jimenez is at -8 after a crafty 68.
McDowell, Rose and Lowry though backed up a little in the worst of the wind with +2 72's and are in at -6
Nae wind, nae golf... ah some things never change
