Seve's win in 1984 at St.Andrews and pairings to watch for..

Open Championship pairings http://www.theopen.com/TeeTimes#!/R1

Here are groups I'll be watching including our 2 Canadians

1.54am  Graham Delaet will tee off with Russell Knox (Scotland) and Brian Farmer the little lefty from the States. DeLaet's clubs didn't arrive until Tuesday and when they did they were covered in a white protein powder !!

3.33am  Tom Watson likely playing his last Open after winning 5 of them, Ernie Els and Brandt Snedeker

4.00am  Bubba Watson, Ian Poulter and Charl Schwartzel

4.11am Lee Westwood, Sergio Garcia and Patrick Reed

4.33am Jordan Spieth, Hideki Matsuyama and Dustin Johnson

4.55am Jason Day, Tiger Woods and Louis Oosthuizen

5.39am Jacquelin Raphael, Eddie Pepperell and David Hearn

7.50am Jason Dufner, Miguel Jimenez and John Daly

9.34am  Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson and Matt Kuchar

9.45am  Justin Rose, Nick Faldo and Rickie Fowler

One of my favourite Open's of all time at St Andrews was 1984 when Seve Ballesteros won his 2nd, and started the era of the fist pump right in front of my seat at the 18th green.. If you never have never seen this here is the link.. enjoy http://www.theopen.com/Heritage/PreviousOpens#!/1984/St%20Andrews

Weather watch: I reported earlier on Monday that it would be a very cool week with rain in the forecast for Thursday, Friday... but not a lot of wind. Well it is pouring down this morning, which will make an already green Old Course even softer, which should result in low scoring. https://www.google.ca/?gws_rd=ssl#q=weather+for+st+Andrews
