After Arnie, Jack and Gary teed it up at 740am it was fitting that a guy who features green shoes as his trademark Charlie Hoffman, playing in just his second Masters hit the first official shot of this year at 7.45 EST

So find below my hole by hole blog on what obviously was a tough day for our 2 Canucks, Mike Weir +10 82, I'll wait to hear if his elbow is right, this is not the score of a Masters champion who is still on tour. He drove wildly at times, didn't make a putt all day, put it in the water twice at 15, just a bad day. Amateur Corey Connors fell apart with bogey, bogey, double bogey,bogey from 5-8 to go out in 41 after starting with 4 straight pars, came back in 39 with his lone birdie at 18.
Charlie Hoffman the first guy out holds the clubhouse lead with a -5 67, but Tiger and Rory etal are out this afternoon...

13th par 5 drive 261 goes for green 252 3 wood just gets over Raes Creek then chips in for eagle 3 now +6
14th par 4 pushes his drive left into the trees, leaves his 2nd in them then hits a great 3rd to 30', 2 putts bogey 5 now +7
15th par 5 After a great drive 290yds hits approach into the pond, drops, hits it into pond again, drops, wedges to 5', makes double bogey 7 +9
16th par 3 tee shot into top bunker, just gets out, 2 putt bogey 4 +10
