Si Woo Kim putts for 59, low scores at TPC Craig Ranch...36 hole results includes 5 Canadians

PGA Tour : CJ Cup Byron Nelson Tee Times Leaderboard

I must preface this post by reminding you the heavy pre event rain in the Dallas area, benign weather and despite a $25m dollar facelift by Lanny Wadkins Design, TPC Craig Ranch is as easy a course as the PGA Tour plays, playing prefered lies makes it more like a big pitch and putt.

So while Si Woo Kim, a Korean living near Dallas for a Korean Sponsor, CJ Group, had a putt at the 18th for the 16th 59 in history, his 64 60 -13 sees him 5 shots clear of the pack at -13.

The rest, all posting mid-low 60's -8 include Sungjae Im, Kensei Hirata ?, Wyndham Clark, Jackson Suber? who all have 61's or 63's so it's no surprise if guys you have never heard of can do it, so can resident Scott Scheffler who had the course to himself with the record -31 last year.

It's a bit of a joke, however I'm sure the field enjoys an easy week, after all the tough one's they have faced this year.

Canadians

T23 AJ Ewart 66, 67

T38 Taylor Pendrith 67 67 -8

T38 Mac Hughes 65 69 -8

T38 Ben Silverman 68 66 -8

T59 Adam Svensson 68 68 -7

M/C Adam Hadwin 75 66

Expect the shootout to continue, this weekend, with more calm conditions, the shame of missing the cut for those at just -5 or worse.
