The Swing champion will also take home a US$200,000 bonus, while the player who finishes highest in the Swing Rankings and is not already exempt will join the field for the second Rolex Series event of the season - the Genesis Scottish Open.
The DS Automobiles 83° Open d'Italia - part of the Open Qualifying Series - will also offer a spot to The Open for the highest placed finisher, not already exempt, who makes the cut.
What are the formats?
All six counting events are 72-hole stroke play events with a 36-hole cut to the top 65 players and ties.
