Now long hitting modest Norwegian 69 -15, Kristoffer Reitan, unknown in the US, outlasted England's Alex Fitzpatrick to become the first from his country to win the Truist Championship at venerable Quail Hollow, while Fitzpatrick with one loose swing at the par 17th which cost him a double bogey finished 73 4th -13 $960,000

This week is the 2nd major of the year at Aronimink GC outside Philadelphia where Scott Scheffler is the defending champion.

There are 4 Canadians in the field with current owgr,  Corey Conners #50  Nick Taylor #58 and Taylor Pendrith #86. 

Rookie Sudarshan Yellamaraju #105 was 1st alternative, but when Reitan won this week, the Canadian takes his place in the field..
