Brooke Henderson T33 Mizuho Americas Open....where has she been ?

 LPGA Tour : Mizuho America's Open.  

In a recent interview, the writer asked me 'where has Brooke Henderson been this year" which got me digging. To the non involved, the LPGA does seem very quiet so far in these parts.

Brooke has played 9 times this year.

January 19/23 ..1st Tournament of Champions (then 1 month off)

February 23/23  T44  Honda LPGA Thailand

March 2/23 T48  HSBC World Championship  (2 weeks off)

March 23/23 MC  LPGA Drive On Championship

April 12/23  T11  LOTTE Championship (2 weeks off)

April 20/23 T23  Chevron  (1 week off)

April 27/23  MC  LA Championship

May 24/23  17th  Bank of Hope Match Play  (3 weeks off)

June 1//23  T33 Mizuho America's Open 

That's 12 weeks off, or 3 months in a 5 1/4 month schedule...

So you're right, not exactly a grueling grind in what has been an off year thus far..

Now remember she wasn't feeling well for undisclosed reasons after that LA Championship so took some time away to get better.

The schedule really picks up now with the PGA, US Open, Evian then Scottish then British Opens, where Brooke is usually in the thick of things, winning the Evian last year for example.

So after a slow start, stay tuned to see  how 2023 ends up...
