ANA Inspiration Saturday TEE TIMES/ leaderboard here
After a disappointing opening +3 75, Brooke Henderson rallied with a bogey free -3 69 just when she needed it to stave off elimination at E when the cut fell at +1 at this week's LPGA major, the ANA Inspiration at Rancho Mirage in California.
Sadly Alena Sharp 72 76 will not be playing here on the weekend.
Brooke is 9 shots out of the lead T44 and is paired today at 10.15am with Thailand's long hitter Ariya Jutanugarn.
If ever the international flavour of the LPGA tour was on display, it's today with the only American, Christina Kim in the top 20. Charley Hull of England pictured below, is in a group with 6 major winner T5
Patty Tavatanakit, another Thai star leads the way 66 69 -9. China, England, Denmark, New Zealand, Germany, South Korea, Mexico, Sweden, Japan, Philippines and Ireland all have flags flying in the top 20.
Henderson's clean round featured all pars, with 2 birdies on the front 34, and one more at the 18th, 35 for her 69 and as I said yesterday 'making the cut was her main focus".
Now that she is in, she'll be looking to build on that on moving day.
