RBC Heritage Friday tee times, leaderboard here
Both Canucks from the Masters, Corey Connors and Mac Hughes brought their fine form up the east coast from Augusta to Hilton Head for this week's RBC Heritage.
Mac Hughes
They shot -4 67's T8 while Nick Taylor hung on to a -2 69 T35th
Harbourtown GC is a much easier test than Augusta, with a premium on accuracy off the tee, and solid approach shots.
The opening par 4 is just a 3 wood at best and a wedge, Dustin Johnson almost drove it, for example.
Young Aussie Cameron Smith was unconscious with a career best -9 62, just pipping veteran Stewart Cink who has found the fountain of youth with his stellar -8 63. He won earlier this year for the first time in his past 11 seasons and has 6 top 20's.
Adam Hadwin and Michael Gligic had rounds they'd rather forget , T128th +5 76.
