Henderson story tops Canadian performances going into the weekend

Brooke Henderson is not only this country's best female golfer, she may be the best period. As she carries the flag tied for the lead at the Women's PGA on this Canada Day weekend, her story tops the list.

Stephen Ames shot a 74 in the second round of the Senior US Open in Colorado, and he's T20 +4 at the tough Broadmoor GC. Jerry Kelly is the leader at -5.

All the other Canucks missed the cut, including Rick Todd who WD after an opening 86.

Corey Connors had a E 70 at the Quicken Loans National and he is T45 -1 as play begins today in Potomac, Md.  Adam Hadwin 69 72 +1 T65, David Hearn 71 69 E 70th. Ben Silverman and Nick Taylor both MC.

Beau Hossler, Brian Gay and Ryan Armour lead at -9, Tiger is at -4.
