This morning Thorbjorn Olesen went out early and shot a career best -11 61 to get to -9, however his 77 the day before, 16 shots worse, cost him this BMW German Open.
Matt Wallace from England fired a -7 65 to beat the Dane by a shot, 73 69 71 65 -10.
He turned in 34 but made five birdies in seven holes from the turn.
They both were waiting in the clubhouse as home hero Martin Kaymer and in form Finn, Mikko Korhonen got within a shot of the leader but they both finished at -9 as well, handing Wallace the third win of his European Tour career.
Olesen's 61 was the lowest round in BMW International Open history, the joint-lowest round of the season and the lowest round of the campaign so far to par as he piled the pressure on the later starters.
