The Old White TPC course gives up the most rounds of 62 or less on the PGA tour, and it took another one, this time a 61 by Jason Bohn to move him into a tie with Sean O’Hair, Sung Joon Park and Bryce Molder at -11 199. O’Hair and Park both shot 66. Molder had a 67.
Bohn’s round included 14 one-putt greens, remember he shot 58 in back in 2001 at what was the old Canadian Tour in an event called the Bayer Championship. O'Hair hasn't done much since his last win in 2011 although he did get into a playoff at the Valspar with Jordan Spieth earlier this season.
Don't ask me who's going to win at the day's end, there are 27 players within four shots of the lead and one of them is David Hearn who continues his fine play with another 68, to sit just a shot off the lead at -10, while Graham DeLaet made five consecutive birdies to end up with 67, -5.
Tiger Woods needed more than 30 putts again and sprayed the ball all over the course on his back nine and shot 71 -4.
It all sets up for an exciting finish, the course is soft and yielding and it looks like someone will need 65 or less to win it. I am calling for a playoff, there has already been 2 here since it started in 2010.
