Henderson, Weir amongst Canadians in action today.. full scoreboards, TEE Times

LPGA : Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions

The LPGA kicks off 2022 in Orlando with it's 29 women limited field TOC, this year sponsored by Hilton Grand Vacations.

After a long lay off Brooke Henderson returns at 9.42am with former Raptor Vince Carter as her celebrity partner at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club.

Annika Sorenstam lives there and she is also in the Celebrity division, with her husband as her caddie.

Jessica Korda defends. Michelle Wie is in the field on a medical exemption.

This is the first of 3 straight weeks in Florida, next week, the first full field event Gainbridge LPGA in Boca Raton where Aussie legend Karrie Webb makes her return.

Follow all the scoring on my link above.

Champions Tour. Mitsubushi Electric Championship TEE TIMES

The senior circuit begins it's 42nd year in Hawaii, Mike Weir sporting his new Tour Edge clubs is off at 12.00pm and Stephen Ames at 11.16 at Kualalai.

Weir has signed a lucrative contract to be a staff professional with the club manufacturer and has been saying all the nice things about them after using their 3 wood during the 2021 season.

David Duval has turned 50 and is going to try his hand on the Champions Tour this year. He'll be rusty, hasn't played since 2014, but will be another interesting story to follow.

PGA Tour: The American Express TEE TIMES

It's the old Bob Hope, this season sponsor is American Express, on 3 courses and all the "celebrities".. more corporate bosses now, than in the hey days.

Seven Canadians are out in the California desert at La Quinta, Adam Hadwin and his family are settled into their villa, he of course shot that 59 here in 2017. He plays La Quinta today off #10 at 11.40est.

Adam Svensson #10 1.40est.

Over on the Nicklaus Tournament Course 12.00pm Taylor Pendrith, Nick Taylor 12.20pm, Corey Connors 1pm, Michael Gligic 1.10pm.

The Pete Dye Tournament Course sees Roger Sloan off #1 12.10pm.

Scoring is always low on these generous courses in ideal desert weather, so I'm expecting another birdie fest.
