Alena Sharp was not alone in the wind during round 2 of the Blue Bay LPGA on Hainan Island, China. On a day when only 8 players broke par she got around in +4 76 after opening with -3 69 so she finds herself T11 +1 heading into the weekend. The wind was gusting up to 28mph.

The best of today's scoring was powerful world #1 Ariya Jutanugarn with a remarkable -4 68 and she leads the field by 4 shots at -7.

Her older sister Moriya leads the chasing pack at -3 and they may be paired together on Saturday. Ariya says they are staying together but get along better on course than they do off it.

"She is very professional, neat and tidy while I throw everything. She yells at me every day !"

Brittany Marchand is T23 after rounds of 72 75 +3
