Adam Hadwin just one off the lead at Mayakoba Golf Classic

PGA Tour Mayakoba Golf Classic leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2019/mayakoba-golf-classic/leaderboard.html

Matt Kuchar hasn't won in 4 years so he decided to bring his family to Mexico for a working holiday at this Mayakoba Golf Classic resort and proceeded to fire a -7 64 to share the lead with Jordan Spieth's Texas roommate Kramer Hickok and Domenic Bozelli.

Hickok is a PGA Tour rookie looking for new digs as Spieth who shot 71 is getting married next week.

Meanwhile Adam Hadwin who has played well here in the past shot a strong bogey free -6 65 T4 just a shot behind. The highlight of his round was an eagle on the par 5 13th.

Other Canadians: Nick Taylor 68 T42, Adam Svensson 70 T77, Corey Connors 72 T109,  Mac Hughes 73 and Roger Sloan 75

Rickie Fowler posted a 66, as over half of the field shot in the 60's. Of note Mexican Abraham Ancer shot a 65 and his T4 last week in Las Vegas moved him to No. 98 in the world. That made Ancer the first Mexican golfer to crack the top 100 in the world ranking.
