LPGA: Honda LPGA Thailand full scoreboard here.
The weather in Chonburi, Thailand is not as bad as the Players Championship, but it is very hot and humid, in fact play was suspended late on Friday due to lightning, before it resumed late to let the players finish their rounds.
Brooke Henderson was sent off after playing the 17th, but returned to birdie the 18th to post at -5 67 T6th and at -12 is just 4 shots off the lead heading into the weekend.
She had this to say after her round. "I'm definitely looking forward to the next 2 rounds. I was solid today, I didn't get off to the start I wanted but kind of made up for it on the back nine, I hit a lot of good shots. No tap in and goes, but it was solid. She was bogey free -4 on that back 9.
The leaders at -16 are the tiny Japanese Nasa Hataoka who is barely 5' tall but makes the most of her little body and some great equipment for 63, 65, and another Asian girl out of Australia Sue Oh also 63 65.
At -15, from France, Celine Boutier 65 64 and a great Dane, Nanna Koerstz Madsen 65 64.
So as noted earlier, you need to keep the birdies coming on the Pattaya Old Course at the Siam CC. It's soft, not overly long, just 6570 yards. Only 5 players are over par.
Later tonight (Saturday in Thailand) Brooke is paired with her old amateur foe, Minjee Lee an Asian Australian 69 64 -11 and Spain's Carlota Ciganda 66 67 -11
