Meijer LPGA Classic Friday leaderboard here
Breaking news: Rain has halted play in round 2, tee times will begin at 9.15am
A +3 75 T128 is not exactly the script defending champion Brooke Henderson had in mind down in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the Meijer LPGA Classic, so she will have her work cut out for today if she doesn't want to miss her 2nd cut in a row.
The cut is projected at -2.
The lead held by 4 players including Japan's Nasa Hataoka who lost the US Open in a playoff, is 10 shots ahead at -7.
Alena Sharp had a solid -2 70 T49th. Jaclyn Lee E 72 T85.
Henderson, playing without sister Brittany on the bag due to visa restrictions, was out in 35, but 4 bogey's on this Blythefield course she loves had her back in 40.
11/18 GIR, 7/13 fairways, 0/2 sand saves and 32 putts is the tale of the tape as they say in boxing.
This event is reknown for low scoring, so it takes 4 good days to be in contention.
