Due to COVID restrictions the RBC Canadian Open was cancelled earlier this year, and will be replaced this week in South Carolina at the Congaree GC by the Palmetto Championship. This is a one off event
It's the week before the US Open on the west coast at Torrey Pines, and as such has attracted a pretty weak field headlined by the return after a lengthy absence of Dustin Johnson and Brooks Keopka. The rest of the top 10 are off, Tyrrell Hatton at #11 is the next highest ranked player.

There are 4 Canadians in the field: David Hearn (1st tee 8.39), Nick Taylor (10th tee 12.48), Michael Gligic (1st tee 1.54), Roger Sloan (1st tee 2.16)
Next week at the US Open, Adam Hadwin has qualified along with Taylor Pendrith to join Mac Hughes and Corey Connors.
