European Tour: Dubai Duty Free Irish Open Tee Times
Rory McIlroy will return to the Mount Juliet Estate for this week's Irish Open, for the first time in 17 years.
Then, as a 13 year old he snuck under the ropes at the trophy presentation to winner Tiger Woods and stood right behind him!
"I could've stole his glove from his back pocket. It was the first time I saw him live hitting a golf ball and was in awe. I grew up idolizing him"
This is the first of 3 weeks back in the UK for Rory, followed by the Scottish Open, then the Open at Royal St.George's. Due to COVID restrictions his wife and young family will stay behind in Florida.
He will be paired with Tommy Fleetwood and American John Catlin who has won twice on the European Tour. See tee times above..
Canadian Aaron Cockerill continues his season in Europe and tees off at 12.30 local time off the 10th tee.
