US Women's Open Championship Friday leaderboard/tee times here.
Brooke Henderson is off to a solid start -3 68 after a breezy, overcast day at the Olympic Club on the shores of the Pacific Ocean for this years US Women's Open.
With 6 birdies and 3 bogey's including the 18th which moved her out of the lead she was happy with her round.
"They moved up a lot of tees which was really nice, gave us more birdie looks than we expected. Brittany and I capitalized on those quite a bit, which was fun. The course is still challenging so if you didn't hit the fairway it was hard to make par. The next 3 days will be challenging and interesting."
She is jjust a shot off the lead held by English star Mel Reid and a 17 year old American amateur Megha Ganne both at -4 67.
Angel Yin, Megan Khan join Brooke at 68 and they are in the group of 15 who managed to break par 71 on this great course that has hosted 5 US Open's. Ten players are at E.
