With Sunday play well under way at the Portugal Masters and an intriguing day ahead at the Fed Ex Cup, and the Web.com DAP Championship, Saturday wasn't a great day for Canadians, here are live links to all of the above, and also the Champions Tour at Pebble Beach.
PGA Tour, Tour Championship leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2017/tour-championship/leaderboard.html
Adam Hadwin struggled to a +3 73 to drop 4 places T22 at +1 some 13 shots behind so he'll be looking to finish on a good note heading into the Presidents Cup next week.
The leader is good guy, England's Paul Casey who shot a -5 65 -12 total for a two-shot lead. He last won on this tour in 2009 in Houston, and he has never had a round in the 70's at this championship. If he wins, he still has an outside chance of winning the Fed Ex Cup with the 10m bonus, so let's see if he can hold his nerve.
Kevin Kisner (64) and PGA Tour rookie Xander Schauffele (65) are at -10.
As for the big 5, Justin Spieth 69 and Dustin Johnson 69 are at -4, Justin Thomas had a 70 -7 and is still in the drivers seat to win the Fed Ex Cup even if he doesn't win. Jon Rahm 70 -6 and Marc Leishman 69 +1
Web.com Tour DAP Championship leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/webcom/tournaments/dap-championship/leaderboard.html
Corey Connors had a +1 71 T21 and Roger Sloan +4 74 T42 in this 3rd leg of the Web.com playoffs, The DAP Championship so both want big Sunday's to get into next week's Tour Championship, and move into the top 25 on the money list who qualify for the PGA Tour next season.
The leader is still Matt Atkins, now joined by another American Nicholas Lindheim at -9.
European Tour Portugal Masters leaderboard http://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/season=2017/tournamentid=2017078/leaderboard/index.html#/leaderboard
With play well into the back nine at the Victoria GC Portugal Masters, Austrian Lucas Bjerregaard is at -19, three shots ahead of South African George Coetzee at -16 playing the 12th, and it seems to be between these two.
Bjerregaard is looking for his first ever win on the European Tour. Due to his fear of flying he plays a part time schedule, travelling by train, car or bus.
Champions Tour Pure Insurance Championship leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/champions/tournaments/pure-insurance-championship/leaderboard.html
For all you Stephen Ames fans he shot -1 71 and is T40 at -2 at Pebble Beach, this year sponsored by Pure Insurance. Rod Spittle missed the cut.
Bernhard Langer continues to dominate this tour as he leads at -12 with Kenny Perry next at -11.
