With nines of 34, 37 +1 71 Adam Hadwin is T21 in this 30 man finale to this PGA season at the venerable par 70 East Lake club in Atlanta.
The lead with his best score of the season is Kyle Stanley -6 64. Daniel Berger eagled the 18th to finish 2nd at 66, -4 along with Brooks Koepka, Webb Simpson, and Paul Casey.
The big names, Jordan Spieth and his buddy and player of the year Justin Thomas are in a large group at -3 67, while world #1 Dustin Johnson shot -2 68 and they will all be in the heavily favoured US President's Cup team next week.
The Fed Ex Cup wraps up on Sunday, with the winner getting the $10m bonus.
