Wagner wins in Hawaii, Hearn T10

Monford Johnson Wagner emerged from the pack at a tough Waialae course to win the Sony Open.

At one point 23 guys were within 2 shots of the lead, Johnson's birdie at 15 gave him a 2 shot lead that he took with him down the 72nd..He finished 67 -13

David Hearn 69 -9 was in a group T10. It was his fourth career top-10 result on the PGA Tour.

"I am very happy with the start to my season," Hearn tweeted. "It felt good to be in the mix so early in the season!!"

Graham DeLaet, who was the leader after the first round, closed with a 72. That left him in a tie for 29th in his first tournament since last June following back surgery. After three sub-70 rounds, Stephen Ames of Calgary stumbled to a final round 75 and a tie for 46th at 3-under par.
