Koepka leads, Hearn fires an ace at Fed Ex St Jude Classic

PGA Tour Fed Ex St Jude Classic scoreboard http://espn.go.com/golf/leaderboard?tour=pga

He says he hasn't been firing on all cylinders yet, but Brooks Koepka, who shared the lead after the first round, shot a -3 67 yesterday and he leads the St. Jude Classic by a shot going into this weekend at -9 131.

Austin Cook is next at -8, taking advantage of a sponsor's exemption to shoot 64.

The weather in Memphis has been hot and humid and this TPC Southwind course has been firming up as the week goes on as a result. If Koepka has better to come he'll be tough to beat as he hit 14 of 18 greens and needed only 28 putts.

Kiwi Steve Alker is 3rd at -6 133 after finishing bogey, double bogey for 68, while Chris Smith (67), Russell Knox (64) and Greg Owen (70) were among seven tied at 134. Ryan Palmer (71) shared the first-round lead with Koepka and Owen and was tied with three others at 135.

Canadian scores : David Hearn had his first hole-in-one on tour on No. 4 with a 6-iron from 185 yards and shot 68 to make the cut. He has made 8 altogether! Corey Conners (72), Mike Weir (75) and Roger Sloan (79) all missed the cut.
