Spain's Azahara Munoz has battled with confidence as her game has been slow in its return to form following hand surgery in March however after a much-needed week of practice she looked more like the 2010 LPGA Rookie of the Year shooting a 6-under 65 to earn a share of the clubhouse lead at the NW Arkansas Championship, following a long weather delay.
Munoz shares the clubhouse lead with Anna Nordqvist and Brittany Lincicome. Mi Jung Hur is 8 under through 14 holes when play was suspended because of darkness. Friday’s round was delayed twice by strong storms and lightning, and 21 groups were unable to finish.
Other Canadian scores.. Rebecca Lee-Bentham -2 69, Alena Sharp +1 72. Sue Kim +3 74 and Jennifer Kirby +8 79.
