DP World Tour : BMW PGA Championship Leaderboard
Wentworth GC was very gettable today at this version of the BMW PGA Championship, where low scoring was the story on moving day. Rain early in the day softened this historic course, making it soft but also long.
Italian Matteo Manassero emerged as the best of the bunch with his bogey free -9 63 -18 where he birdied 6 of his last 8 holes to pull away from the pack in what he called "one of the best rounds I have ever played"
His playing partners were producing sensational scoring themselves.
Rory was near his best, bogey free -6 66, he found water at the last after going for the green in two, but managed to get up and down to T2 -15 with Billy Horschel who made an incredible 7 straight birdies in holes between the 8th and 14th for -7 65 -15.
Overnight leader Matthew Baldwin is 4th -14 after 71 today, while Frenchman, Antoine Rozner 69 and South African Thriston Lawrence 65 are T5 -13.
Canadian Aaron Cockerill was treading water with his -1 71 to head into Sunday at -8 T21 70 67 71, ten shots of the lead.
Weather : There is rain in the forecast overnight and right through Sunday listed as heavy at times so expect more of the same tomorrow.
