The final GNN posting... Ian "Hutch" Hutchinson 1955-1968

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ian ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson. Ian was the founder, primary writer and driving force behind Golf News Now. His unmatched work ethic and dedication to the Canadian Golf Industry will be missed. Since its inception in 2008 Ian produced 19,086 posts, 4,480,668 words, and his pages have been read by over 3,000,000 readers. An astonishing metric and testament to his deep belief in community and the importance of integrity with respect to the news. Hutch’s passion for sports and generous spirit have been recognized with numerous awards but those who knew him know this … it was never about him, he was always about you.
