PGA Tour : Charles Schwab Challenge Leaderboard
I'd need to check the history books to see if the great Ben Hogan ever shot a 62 on his beloved Colonial course in Fort Worth Texas, but the taciturn old Master would have tipped his cap to England's Harry Hall playing his rookie year on the PGA Tour, and for the first time at Colonial.
Hall used only 22 putts to lead this edition of the Charles Schwab Challenge by 4 shots with -8 62.
Tom Hoge who lives in Fort Worth is 2nd -4 66. All the Texans on Tour continue to support the Colonial, in part an homage to their legend.
Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns who were the final pairing last year, with Burns the winner, were in a group of 15 who shot -3 67's.
The lone Canadian this week Nick Taylor, is flirting with the cut T68 +1 71.
