Tall, big hitting Belgian star Nicholas Colsaerts is shining as brightly as the sun at this ritzy Mediterranean, Regnum Carya resort in southern Turkey.
With rounds of 64 64 he has a four shot lead at -14, with England's Eddie Pepperall his nearest challenger at 66 66 -10.
You may remember Colsaerts won the last of his two European Tour titles in 2012 en route to making the Ryder Cup Team for the Miracle at Medinah. His best finish so far this season was a T3 at the BMW PGA Championship.
Canada's Austin Connelly continues his season on the European Tour, and is well down the field this week 72 73 +3 T66. He is currently #196 in the world, 76th in the Race To Dubai and his best finish was 2nd back in September at the KLM Open.
