PGA Tour CJ Cup at Nine Bridges leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2018/the-cj-cup-at-nine-bridges/leaderboard.html
The PGA Tour is playing their first regular professional event in South Korea at the tourist resort of Jeju Island which is 15 hours ahead of EST. It's called the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges.
Overcast skies and a soft golf course greeted the field and Justin Thomas took full advantage, especially of the par 5's where he had 2 eagles and 2 birdies on his way to a -9 63 to take the first round lead. He is 3 shots clear of 6 players at -6.
There are 3 Canadians who have made the trip, which incidentally took some 30 hours from Florida.
Nick Taylor has posted 6 birdies and 2 bogey's for an opening -4 68 T12, while Graham DeLaet survived a triple bogey 7 at the 11th to shoot -2 70 T30. Adam Hadwin didn't have his best day, T67 +3 75.
In this restricted field, 49 players are currently under par.
