Sergio Garcia capped off his own tournament in fine style, shooting a final round -4 67 for a -12 total, to win by just a shot over Dutchman Joost Luiten who closed with a -5 66 to get to -11. His costly 3 putt bogey at the 16th was crucial.
It is the second time Garcia has won the Andalucia Valerrama Masters at Spain's most renown golf course, his 14th European Tour title, his 6th on Spanish soil and has moved him closer to leader Tommy Fleetwood in the Race to Dubai
He has only finished outside the top ten once in 13 events here, with eight top fives. It is his 3rd win this season, the Masters and the Dubai Desert Classic.
