Scott and Garcia atop the roller coaster ride at the Honda Classic

PGA Tour Honda Classic leaderboard http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/the-honda-classic/leaderboard.html

Imagine shooting a -4 66 with a quadruple bogey on your card ! That's what Adam Scott did on a dramatic Saturday and this water riddled PGA National Champion course in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

He played brilliantly all day, in complete control of his magnificent game with seven birdies through 14 holes. He leads nearly every category with his iron play in proximity to the pin and is driving with power and precision.

Then came the par 3, water everywhere 15th where he had a 3 shot lead over Sergio Garcia. Scott put two balls into the water, his first a 6 iron that ballooned up in the wind, the second from the drop zone went right over the flag, but long and he made a quadruple bogey 7 to lose the lead.

Sergio who is striking the ball as well as ever, lost that lead with a bogey on the 17th, but the roller coaster ride continued with a clutch birdie at the last for a -3 67 to join Adam in the lead at -9, 201.

Blayne Barber had a 69 and is four shots back at -5.

What about Rickie Fowler and Jimmy Walker (who the 1st tee emcee introduced as Jimmy Fowler..!!

Rickie you'll remember had a one-shot lead going into Saturday going bogey-free through the opening 36 holes in the process. Suddenly he couldn’t make a birdie and wound up with a +2 74 to fall five shots behind.

After his embarrassing introduction, Walker briefly took the lead with an early birdie but nothing went right after that and he didn’t make another birdie until the 18th hole for a 79, 11 behind.

Canadian score: Graham DeLaet T22 72 70 69 +1
