This is the Phoenix Open with the stadium par 3 16th, fuelled by some 16,000 beer soaked fans.... These days with Waste Management as the title sponsor we have to pay homage to guys who make porta potties and have stumped up some $10m as title sponsor to tell everyone their s--- doesn't stink..
Round one is well underway and there are 4 Canadians. David Hearn +3 74 and Nick Taylor +2 73 were out early and didn't do so well.
Graham DeLaet playing late just about aced the 17th ended up E 72 while Adam Hadwin shot +1 73
The leaders are Rickie Fowler, Shane Lowery and Hideki Matsuyama at -6 65. Indian star Anibar Lahiri is 3rd at -5 67
