Young sensation Tom Lewis wins Portugal Masters

You will remember big Dar' Darren Clarke winning this year's Open Championship, you might remember what a solid week Thomas Bjorn had, and the charge that Phil Mickelson made on the front 9 on Sunday, but do you remember who was tied for the lead with Bjorn after that 1st round.

Hint, he played with his idol and the man he was named after,Tom Watson.... That's right, young amateur sensation Tom Lewis who stole the hearts of many with his play that week, receiving the silver medal as the top amateur..

Well in this his 3rd start as a pro he has just won the Portugal Masters by 2 shots with scores of 70,64.68,65 -21

He is from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England.

In 2009, Lewis won the Boys Amateur Championship at Royal St George's and he turned pro after his team won the Walker Cup in September this year.
