Rolex Rankings No. 4 Na Yeon Choi captured her first victory of the 2011 season at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia. Choi shot a final-round 68, -15 and held off a Sunday charge from Rolex Rankings No. 1 Yani Tseng (65) to capture her fifth career LPGA Tour victory.
It was her birdie 2 on 17, as both players were tied at -14 that made the difference when Tseng had missed a birdie attempt of her own.
It was her 10th top 10 of the year and the 100th win by a South Korean on the LPGA tour.
