PGA Tour : CJ CUP Byron Nelson Leaderboard
For those who have been asking CJ is a huge Korean food giant who has signed a 10 year sponsorship with the Byron Nelson formerly sponsored by AT&T.
They are sponsoring the 16 year old Brit with a Korean mother who played on the LPGA, Kris Kim who became the youngest player to make the cut in a PGA Tour event 68 67 -7.
The leader is golfaholic Jake Knapp who won his first PGA Tour event earlier this year, taking this TPC Craig Ranch course apart 64 64 -14. Knapp says he's pretty boring, just practices and plays golf all the time.
With the soft conditions and clean and place in effect the cut fell at -6.
Canada's Taylor Pendrith birdied all five of his last holes 36 31, 67 to stay right in contention T5 at -11
Mac Hughes also rallied from an opening 71 with 8 birdies and a lone bogey 32 32 , 64 to make the cut T36 at -7
Ben Silverman and Roger Sloan missed the cut.
