PGA Tour : The CJ Cup Byron Nelson ..Leaderboard
I haven't had much to say about Taylor Pendrith for almost 2 years.
The big hitting Canadian was ranked #12 in Stroke gained off the Tee in 2022, now he's #151.However after several procedures apart from actual surgery he is back to his old form after T11 with Corey Conners last week in Zurich.
This week he is T2 after 18 holes -7 64 bogey free, 7 birdies in soggy conditions at TPC Craig Ranch, the lead at -8 63 is Englishman Matt Wallace.
A few players need to complete their round this morning, however after thunder storms delayed play on Thursday more bad weather is in the forecast
My game is built around driving, and I've lost a lot of speed but now I'm getting it back so I can fully commit to my swing again, where as before I would flinch and ease off, so that has been a challenge mentally. Getting back to how I like to play golf is a good feeling.
Weirsy hosted a Presidents Cup dinner on Tuesday, which former team member Pendrith attended. " Huge motivation for me to be on that team in Montreal,, the last one in Canada was 2007 and we all want to be part of that team" He is currently ranked 26th.
Other Canadians
Ben Silverman T95 -1 thru 17
