Roger Sloan was the best of the four Canadians at this Bermuda Championship with just 1 bogey in his opening -4 67 T13 and he is off early at 9.05am this morning.
Michael Gligic (1.35pm) and David Hearn (rd2) both shot -3 68 and they begin round 2 T25.
Graham DeLaet (1.15pm) who continues his return to play from a debilitating back injury is T116 after +3 74 so will have to find some form to Make the cut projected at -1.
The leader at -8 63 is in form American Peter Malnati who has two T10's in his last 2 outings.
This is the first event to allow limited spectators albeit 500 per day, and although it is an alternative event to the HSBC in China which was cancelled, it carries full points, prize money and an invite to the Masters.
