Saturday's are known as moving days in pro golf, the four Canucks at this CJ Cup at the elite Shadow Creek course in Las Vegas will need a big one to move up the no cut 78 man field.
Adam Hadwin T45 75 69 E, Nick Taylor T50 71 74 +1, Corey Connors T57 77, 70 +3, Mac Hughes T61 73 75 +4 are all well behind the leader Xander Schauffele 66,64 -14 who went out with a personal best 29, before stalling as the course backed up on the back nine.
He is 3 shots clear of Tyrrell Hatton 65 68 -11 who is having a great run of form after winning the BMWPGA Championship, a glittering addition to his resume. He will be over his jet lag by the time today's 3rd round gets underway.
Defending champion Justin Thomas is T8 -6 72 66. Ian Poulter T13 -5 69 70 is sporting some flashy new tailor made Las Vegas styled pants resplendent with dice, roulette wheels, cards in the patterns.
