It's all about Tiger today at the Honda Classic, Connors and Hughes make the cut

PGA Tour Honda Classic leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/yahoo/leaderboard.html

The wind has shifted from the SW to the SE for todays play, its fresher if anything than Friday, sunny and warm, so that means nobody is about to go out this afternoon and shoot 65, as Rory said yesterday, "anything around par 70 is a great score here this week". The greens are getting baked out with the sun and wind and are a very fast test.

So with all due respect to the leaders currently at -3, today will be all about Tiger who has made the cut with 70 71 +1, just 4 behind, and so far today he's played the front nine in -1 so sits at E par.

Looking fit and healthy, this windy tight set up looks like a perfect fit for Tiger, he's hitting that go to low stinger he has perfected over the years off the tee to great effect, and working the ball either way at will with excellent distance control as he heads into his back nine, where the famous Bear Trap awaits. His ball speed is up to 182mph with the Tour average at 168mph, so you can see how freely he is swinging.

Two Canucks made the cut which fell at +5 which tells you how tough conditions are. Mac Hughes 67 75 +2 is on his back nine as I write just a stroke over par, while Corey Connors 70 72 is +3 on his round today with  to play.
