Henderson among the pack chasing Korda at Honda LPGA Thailand

LPGA Tour Honda LPGA Thailand leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/honda-lpga-thailand/leaderboard

Brooke Henderson (-4 68) is T5 at -9 with six birdies and two bogeys overnight at the Honda LPGA Thailand's second round which is just what she wanted to do, stay amongst the leaders going into the weekend. Her putts were down to 27 including a 40 foot bomb on #12 for birdie.

The problem is Jessica Korda had one of the rounds of her life, a -10 62 after she fashioned eight birdies capping her sensational round with an eagle to sit at -16 which is a 36-hole record for the event. She leads by 4 shots clear.

Playing in the group with Brooke was Brittany Lincicome, who shot -7 65, -12 at the Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course, and she is in 2nd place. Alena Sharp (73) is back at +4

Conditions were overcast, hot and muggy with rain threatening most of the day, but ideal for low scoring.

It is notoriously hard to follow a round like 62 with another really low one, so the field will need Miss Korda to come back to them on Saturday or she will have lapped them come dinner time.

The contenders are all stars, Michelle Wie -9, Lexi (Legsy) Thompson -10, Minjee Lee -11 are all in there with Brooke. Saturday's are moving day, so let's see who's moving in the right direction!!
