Sullivan tames the wind to lead by 5 in Portugal.

The bad weather forecast forced the tournament organizers to play a shot gun start which I must admit I have never seen in a pro event, but it worked as they have just completed round three and Andy Sullivan has extended his lead to 5 shots at -18 after following up his opening 64's with a -5 67.

The rain and storms stayed away in the morning, but the wind was playing havoc with scoring far more difficult than the first two days but Sullivan is playing so well it didn't affect him as his nearest competitor is Spain's Eduardo de la Riva (68)

Chris Wood had a remarkable round of the day, -6 65 moving him up to -11 along with Spaniard Jorge Campillo (67)
And with more bad weather expected on Sunday, there will be another 0800 shotgun start.
