Nick Taylor in contention in Las Vegas

PGA Tour Shriners Hospitals for Children Open leaderboard http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/shriners-hospitals-for-children-open/leaderboard.html

With rounds of 66 70 67 -10 Canada's Nick Taylor has put himself in contention, just 3 shots off the lead at this Shriners Hospitals for Children at the TPC Summerlin course just 10 miles west of the strip in Las Vegas.

The leader is still Brett Stegmaier in only his fifth career PGA Tour start, who birdied the final hole for a -3 68 -13 and a one-stroke lead over Morgan Hoffman who is second after a -5 66.

Jimmy Walker 69, Chad Campbell 70 and 2011 winner and Las Vegas resident Kevin Na 68 are T3 at -11 while Alex Cejka had a hole in one on his way to a 66 that left him at -10 along with Taylor (67), Jason Bohn (69) and Cameron Tringale (70).

Taylor will have his work cut out for him as the course has been getting firmer as the week goes on and the 64's of Thursday have dried out with the greens.

David Hearn is T16 after rounds of 64 70 72 -7.
