Jimmy Walker was off for two weeks prior to the Valero, this week makes 3 in a row with all the comforts of home, and so far he is the most comfortable on his home course at TPC San Antonio.
His -3 69 has him four shots clear of a stellar field at -9. Jordan Speith, the pre tournament favourite had -3 33 on the front nine but with the breeze freshening was +2 38 on the back for 71 and a -5 total.
Billy Horschel 71 is next at -3 then five guys are at -2 including Zach Johnson. Phil Mickelson had a 74 and seems out of it at E.
So it's Walker's to lose, with Speith in pursuit and that's all the Texas fans need to know as their favourite sons duke it out on Sunday..
